Chain-snatcher, 48, who skipped court for 26 years nabbed in Karnataka

48-year-old man arrested 26 years after snatching gold chain of woman in 1998. Accused, Gulab Khan alias Gullu, evaded court proceedings until caught this month. Police instructed to nab suspects not attending court. Assistant sub-inspector Lakshmanachar KV traced Gullu without technical support and arrested him on Feb 3. Gullu is in judicial custody under IPC section 174 A.
